Poland will continue to provide educational services to forcibly evacuated citizens of Ukraine

First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrii Vitrenko and Deputy Minister Vira Rohova held an online meeting with Tomasz Rzymkowski, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Poland, Government Commissioner for Development and Internationalization.

During the meeting, the parties tackled the development of draft international agreements under consideration by the Polish side, as well as the organization of a national multi-subject test (MST) for Ukrainian entrants who are forced to stay in the Republic of Poland.

First of all, Tomasz Rzymkowski assured of absolute solidarity with Ukraine and readiness to facilitate assistance in the issue of education of forcibly evacuated citizens of Ukraine. He informed that appropriate conditions had been created and place for conducting MST in the Republic of Poland determined.

In addition, the issues of meeting the educational needs of the Polish national minority in Ukraine and the Ukrainian national minority in the Republic of Poland were discussed during the event.

The parties also agreed to step up the development of draft international agreements.

It should be noted that the Government has adopted a decision on the start the 2022/2023 academic year in general secondary educational institutions.
