Some 153,628 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on September 23, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.
“As many as 153,628 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, on September 23, 2021. Some 96,986 people received their first dose, and 56,642 people were fully vaccinated,” the report reads.
According to the ministry, 993 mobile vaccination teams, 3,057 vaccination sites, and 349 vaccination centers were operating across the country in the past day.
A total of 11,979,985 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched a vaccination campaign, with 6,624,026 people receiving their first dose and 5,355,959 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).
Some 9,058 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on September 23.
