Russian invasion in Ukraine kills 161 children, 264 reported as wounded

Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine resulted in the death of 161 children and wounding of 264 children, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (PGO) has said.

“As of the morning of April 4, 2022, more than 425 children were affected in Ukraine as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. At the same time, 161 children were killed and 264 were wounded.

According to officially established data, the most injured children were in Kyiv region: 75, Donetsk region: 78, Kharkiv region: 59, Chernihiv region: 49, Mykolaiv region: 34, Luhansk region: 31, Zaporizhia region: 22, Kherson region: 29, the capital: 16, Sumy region: 16, and Zhytomyr region: 15,” a message published on the Telegram channel on Monday says.
