Ukraine has already exported 34.734 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops in the 2022/2023 marketing year (July 2022 through March 15, 2023), according to the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
The press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine said this in a statement posted on its website, Ukrinform reports.
In the current marketing year, Ukraine exported 11.989 million tonnes of wheat, 2.141 million tonnes of barley, 16,600 tonnes of rye and 20.29 million tonnes of corn.
At the same time, from July 2021 to March 27, 2022, Ukraine exported 44.849 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, including 18.399 million tonnes of wheat, 5.641 million tonnes of barley, 161,900 tonnes of rye and 20.348 million tonnes of corn.
In the first 15 days of March 2023, Ukraine exported 2.437 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops (in the 27 days of March 2022 – 1.334 million tonnes), including 651,000 tonnes of wheat (in March 2022 – 307,000 tonnes), 91,000 tonnes of barley (5,000 tonnes), 1,000 tonnes of rye (in the 27 days of March last year, Ukraine did not export rye) and 1.686 million tonnes of corn (1.017 million tonnes).
In the 2022/2023 marketing year, Ukraine exported 106,600 tonnes of flour (91,200 tonnes in the 2021/2022 marketing year).
