Believing in the mutual benefit of knowledge and experience sharing, the Swiss Government, through the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students, awards postgraduate scholarships to Ukrainian researchers to promote international exchange and support research cooperation between Switzerland and Ukraine.
The Swiss Government awards three types of scholarships to Ukrainian researchers:
Please note: no university scholarships for bachelor or master studies are granted under this specific program!
Call Schedule:
- Opening of the call for online application – 04.08.2025
- Submission deadline – 01.12.2025 (11:59 PM (Swiss local time))
- By the end of May at the latest, the FCS will announce its decisions regarding the scholarship awards for the following academic year.
Requirements for Participation:
- Candidates must meet the specific eligibility criteria for their chosen type of scholarship (Research, PhD, or Postdoc).
- Applications must be prepared and submitted through the online SERI portal during the open period.
