More than 76% of educators in Ukraine have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to Education Minister Serhiy Shkarlet.
“I’m informing about the statistics of COVID-19 vaccination rate among employees of general secondary education institutions. According to the latest data, almost 93% of employees have received at least one dose. More than 492,000 employees of secondary education institutions or 76.2% have been vaccinated with two doses,” the minister wrote on Telegram.
According to Shkarlet, the highest vaccination rates were recorded among educators in Khmelnytskyi region (99%), Mykolaiv region (97.5%), Kyiv region (97.4%), Kharkiv region (96.8%) and Donetsk region (96%).
As earlier reported, unvaccinated civil servants and educators in Ukraine will be suspended from duties from November 8.
