A joint team from the EU Delegation to Ukraine, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Embassies of France and Denmark visited Mykolaiv this week to discuss local development, essential services to citizens, and address urgent recovery needs—particularly drinking water .
The delegation met with local authorities, toured the facilities of Mykolaivvodokanal, and visited the Tyligulska wind farm, the first wind power plant in the world built during the war. They also visited Agrofusion, a leading tomato-processing company rebuilding its operations despite the challenges.
In partnership with the EU and Member States, the EIB plans to expand water supply assistance to keep supporting Mykolaiv’s recovery and resilience.
